Carapace armor

The arm guards have been lying around untouched for ages. I think I've made a mistake... I don't know how to "lock" them.

The underbust armor is something … dunt know what to do next 🥹

The back armor „tail“ thing is also primed. Tomorrow I will try to install the wire 🤔

Made the crystal for the top

I went fabric shopping 👀✨ and maybe found a good fake leather for the gloves and leg armor pieces

I finally managed to work on the breastplate 🥲

I didn’t used kwikseal I simply used acrylic (sealing ground ) this stuff is so easy to handle and much cheaper.

3D modeled the chain part for the Top, I hope it fits 🫣

Btw - this is my first armor I ever made… so it is a try and error thing. And what is better than making the first armor ever and trying new materials as well? … Jup I‘m stupid. But maybe it works? - on a YouTube vid, a cosplayer recommended this leak-seal Spray as an alternativ for plastydip. So I took the easiest piece from my „Tail“ and try this stuff. Tomorrow we will see if it worked out or not. 😬

Working on the back part … don’t know exactly what it is, but I think it’s a „armor“-tail 😂 … Since the whole design of this armor is inspired by a butterfly 🦋… I call it „tail“ 😅 Oki? So I took my burning-tool and make some details.

More pattern making 🥲…

The first arm armor pattern didn’t work out… so I had to make a new one … hope the new construction will do a better job 🥺
