What you need
- *Crochet Skirt(1)
- *Eggs(8)
- *Sewing pressures(7)
- *Hand seam(1)
- *Glue or varnish(1)
- *Fabric drop(1)
- *Lace(1)
Steps
- 1
Put your carnations down
For now, it's not very different from a classic lacing. Mark your carnation locations and place them with a carnation clip or hammer. Be careful to remove each eyelet from its neighbours by at least 6 or 7 mm - 2
Prepare your laces
Cut your shoelace into 8 small pieces. The length shall be equal to the length which each piece shall cover on the lacing + 2cm. If your shoelace becomes thin, you can secure the tips with glue or transparent nail polish. . - 3
Sew your laces
Put a piece of lace in each eyelet and place it in the angle it will have later. Sew each shoelace in the hand on the inverse while keeping the angle. You now have a shoelace that comes out of every eyelet on the front of your suit. - 4
Swipe the pressure
On each end of the laces (except on the first), sew a sew pressure. Then place the lacing as it will be at the end and note where each pressure comes in so that you can sew the second part of the pressure on the back of the fabric. The yaw must be tense but not too much (otherwise the pressures will jump all the time) - 5
Sew the hook
The first lace of lacing will have the most tension stresses, so a pressure may not be sufficient. So we'll install a skirt hook. If your shoelace is squeaky, do not hesitate to add a small piece of fabric in support. As with the pressures, place the hook lace where it should be, note where the hook arrives and sew the other part of the hook on the reverse side. - 6
Test your lacing
Wear your suit and try the lacing by alternating the laces between the right and left sides. Adjust if necessary by moving the pressures upside down.
