Steps

1. 1

   Patron of the pen

   On a paper sheet or pattern paper draw a shape of feather either rounded or pointed according to the type of feathers desired

   Foam report

   Lay the pattern of the feather on the EVA foam and arranged at best to place maximum, make a line in the middle of the feather in order to define the location of the rachis of the feather

   Cut

   Cut the feathers with a cutter preferably or a scissor, making a few small notches on the sides

   Sanding details

   Using a small rotary sander, make small cuts throughout the feather, the cuts should be slightly inclined towards the tip of the feather (up), make the restaurant and the back of the feather if necessary. For 5 mm foams sand the edges of the feather to round the contours

   Place the rachis

   Use foam clay to create the rachis in the center of the feather, an iron wire can also be installed in this place so that the feather remains straight

   Painting

   Your feathers can now be painted, remember to use a primer (photo step) before placing the paint and to add a better contrast and details, use an airbrush
