Make your wig

360 minMedium

I won't talk about spiders and crêpage because I don't use these methods.

What you need

  • Thickness
  • Striped boar brush
  • Tail comb
  • PQ/bigoudis roll
  • Smoothing
  • Scissors
  • *Normal brush
  • *Lacquer
  • *Make to sniff

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash your wig

First of all, it is important to wash your wig especially if it is a second hand. Why? Avoid lice, dirt etc... - Put your wig in hot water and put a little softener and rub well. You can also add vinegar (kill lice). - Try wig and let it dry on your wig head. - Put a towel underneath in case (do not put water on the floor)
  2. 2

    Unbundling

    - Separate the wicks as you want to have several sections. - Pass the brush or the boar stack from the bottom up. If the knots are too big take the comb and brush. Even if you don't see any change right away there will be. - Pass the defrost on it (it helped me a lot). This step is really long so don't get discouraged. Put a show or a movie in front of you to spend time a little faster. - You can then read the wig if you want.
  3. 3

    Gaufrer la wig

No, we're not making waffles. Gaufrer's wig serves to have more volume than before. - Test a wick underneath if the wig resists. For large waffle iron: - Start with the bottom wicks and step up. For the Little Iron to Waffle: - If the marks are not visible it is not serious, put lacquer (preferably taste2) and then pass it to waffle and pass the brush on. - Put on the brush and put on a crusher to get less frisotille.
  4. 4

    Close your wig

Take out the PQ rollers and the pliers if you don't have a penny. You can do several floors (below and above or regroup it all will depend on the rendering you want). - Heat the wick and turn around the roll. Heat it and do the same until the wick ends. Hang the roller with clamps. Make the others to let them cool. - You can put lacquer before removing the roll. Accompany the wick gently down. - Put on a defreight and some more lacquer.
  5. 5

    Fringe

Cut the fringe!!! I too often see people not cutting but you have to take that risk. That's how we improve. So don't go on expensive wigs if you're afraid to miss.
