Prepare the surface
Clean the object to remove any dust or grease. If necessary, lightly sand the surface to smooth and apply a primer layer to facilitate adhesion of the paint. - 2
Apply Base
Apply a layer of white or silver base paint to create a reflective base. This step is crucial to give the appearance of a glass surface. - 3
Creating the transparency effect
Use layers of translucent paint (such as glacis or diluted paint) to add nuances and create the effect of depth and transparency. - 4
Add reflections
With a fine brush, apply touches of white or silver paint to imitate the reflections of light. Variate the intensity to give a realistic effect. - 5
Protection
Apply a layer of glossy varnish to seal the paint and strengthen the gloss and reflection effect of the glass. Let it dry.
