Patroning a combi-short

What you need

  • *Basic bust boss(1)
  • *Patron of trousers(1)
  • *Pen or felt(1)
  • *Scotch paper(1)
  • *Patron paper(1)

Steps

    Preparation

    Position the pelvis line of your bust boss on the pelvis line of your pants boss, and scotch with the paper scotch.

    Layer

    Put your pattern paper or layer paper on your scotch base patterns.

    Preparation

    Start by folding your bust pattern on the pelvis line all the way along. Fold in such a way as to reduce the margin behind.

    Decalding

    Pull your boss from the shoulders to the knee line. Don't forget the pliers. You can redraw the pelvis line between the top and bottom if necessary (take always wide).

    Other side

    If you can't tie your bust pattern to your pants boss, you can also decalate the top and bottom separately and connect the two together to the pelvis line. Don't forget to touch the pelvis line on the side!

    Cutting fabric

    Then cut your fabric with your new bosses!

    Seam

    A little sewing, while following the lines of the patterns well, and leaving an opening behind to place a zipper and there! No one will come to watch your holy heritage!
