prepare a "small" bag for a convention

Whether it's for a manga convention, video games, comics or cosplay, a small well organized bag can avoid a lot of messes. The idea is to travel light while keeping the essential.

Avoids too heavy or bulky bags: after several hours of walking in convention and waiting lines, it quickly becomes tiring

What you need

  • *Adapt your bag according to the weather, if it rains and your bag is not waterproof you may not have a good time
  • *Bag not too heavy (solid and light)
  • You can of course adapt your bag as you wish (you are not obliged to follow all the rules of guide)

Steps

  1. The indispensables: Telephone + battery

    - Phone charged - External battery - Charging cable (It depends on whether you have of course, but for many, between shooting, and other phone interaction the battery easily decreases)

  2. Money and important papers

    - Bank card (not mandatory) - A little liquid - ID card - Entry ticket / or QR code (which if you have already paid your entry in advance) Keep them in an easy access but secure pocket.

  3. Water and food

    Small bottle of water and quick Snack: - cereal bars or/and sweet foods (like sweet fruit etc., to get some sugar quickly) - Light sandwich. Food on site can be expensive and queues are sometimes long (small example: 1 bottle of water of 50 cl can easily be sold for 2 € ) according to my experience ;-;

  4. Quick hygiene

    Mini pouch with: - tissues - hydroalcoholic gel (if necessary) - gum or mint deodorant travel format hygienic protections if necessary. (But not mandatory) (PS for girls: equip yourself well in case of menstrual cycle)

  5. If you do cosplay : Repair kit

    Very useful: - pins to nurse - mini seam - glue - adhesive tape - hair clips / elastic. (A cosplay rarely ends the day without a small accident. Especially if it is made by a very fragile fabric)

  6. For your comfort

    - anti-bulb dressings - mini fan if warm suit - retouch makeup - wipes. (Don't neglect your comfort especially if you wear a cosplay with specific features such as heel shoes or other cosplay that you don't necessarily wear)
