Steps

   Wash

   To start, take your wig and place it in your sink (some are too small for long wigs, in this case use a basin or bathtub) you must be able to overwhelm the wig in so a few centimetres of water will normally suffice! Then take your shampoo and wash your wig, especially the tips (if it is long) and the base of the head. Finally rinse it completely with warm/cold water in a shower, for example.

   Dry 1

   To dry your wig, wig it first to the maximum and then wrap it in a towel (personally I twist the towel well to remove maximum water). Then you can place it on a support (I have treped but a wiper roller or a turned off lamp can do the job). In order not to have water on the floor I advise you to put a second dry towel below the support!

   Untangle

   Instead, untangle the wig when it is still wet by keeping a towel under it to absolve the drops that will fall. To unravel is like to us. Always start from bottom to top so that knots do not accumulate down and make the task harder! Use a brush, a comb, (some even use animal brushes) and brush with the same technique. You can also flip your wig according to its thickness to untangle both sides. If the task is too hard you can use detangling spray (do not work on all wigs).

   Dry 2

   We are now looking to dry the wig completely. For this nothing well complicated, let it dry in the open air (you can put a towel underneath if the wig is still too wet).

   Finish / Stylization

   Finally you can either leave your wig like this or smooth it/clash/cut/etc... creativity has no limits!
