1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Use define the rules for accessing and using the Cosplan service, a social network dedicated to cosplay that allows users to create, publish, and share content related to their cosplay projects.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Access to and use of Cosplan imply full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

3. Service Access and Minimum Age

Cosplan is accessible to users aged 13 and over.

For minors, use may require parental consent in accordance with applicable regulations.

4. Account Creation and Authentication

Access to the service is provided through:

  • magic link (email),
  • Google sign-in,
  • Apple sign-in.

The user is responsible for keeping their account confidential and for all actions carried out through it.

5. Usernames and Identity

Users may use freely chosen pseudonyms.

Any impersonation is prohibited.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

Users remain the full owners of the content they publish (photos, videos, illustrations, texts, Cosplan projects).

They are solely responsible for their content.

Technical Use License

The user grants Cosplan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to:

  • host
  • display
  • technically distribute content within the service

7. External Use of Content

Any use of user content by Cosplan (promotion, communication, social networks, App Store) requires the user’s prior and explicit authorization.

8. Authorized and Prohibited Content

Authorized

  • classic cosplay
  • artistic cosplay
  • moderate sexy cosplay compliant with platform rules

Prohibited

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • pornography and explicit nudity
  • sexualization of minors or minor characters
  • extreme graphic violence
  • incitement to hatred, harassment, or discrimination
  • doxxing and disclosure of personal data
  • illegal or fraudulent content
  • spam, repetitive content, or unsolicited content
  • botting, abusive automation, or fake engagement
  • data scraping or automated extraction from the service
  • reverse engineering, decompilation, or attempts to access source code
  • toxic, abusive, malicious, or deviant behavior
  • artificial manipulation of the platform
  • use of AI-generated images in a misleading, fraudulent, or community-rule-breaking manner

9. Sanctions

Any behavior contrary to these Terms may result in:

  • content removal
  • temporary account suspension
  • permanent banning without prior notice in cases of seriousness or repeated offenses

10. User Interactions

Cosplan does not provide:

  • private messaging
  • a public comments system

Interactions are limited to reactions (likes).

11. Community Guides

Users may publish guides, tutorials, and explanatory content.

Such content:

  • is written under the sole responsibility of its authors
  • does not constitute approval by Cosplan
  • may contain errors or inaccurate information

Cosplan cannot be held responsible for their use.

12. Community Polls

Users may create polls.

They are:

  • entirely under the responsibility of their creators
  • not validated by Cosplan
  • liable to be removed in the event of abusive or illegal content

13. Events and Directory

Cosplan acts solely as a directory of cosplay events.

Cosplan is not responsible for:

  • organization
  • cancellations
  • changes
  • event safety
  • external transactions

14. Moderation

Cosplan uses:

  • human moderation
  • automated moderation (AI)
  • community reporting

Cosplan reserves the right to remove any content or account without prior notice in the event of a violation of these Terms.

A right to challenge a decision is possible.

15. Virtual Currency

Cosplan offers virtual currency that is:

  • purchasable
  • obtainable through activities
  • non-refundable
  • without expiration
  • usable only within Cosplan
  • not exchangeable between users

16. Premium Subscription

Cosplan offers a premium subscription:

  • with no free trial period
  • cancelable at any time
  • access maintained until the end of the paid period
  • non-refundable except where required by law

17. Advertising

Cosplan may display advertisements.

Ad targeting is carried out only with the user’s explicit consent (opt-in).

18. Personal Data

Cosplan complies with the GDPR.

Collected data:

  • email
  • username
  • published content
  • necessary technical data

No collection of:

  • location data
  • biometric data
  • private messages (none exist)

19. Data Retention

  • deleted content: 30 days
  • deleted accounts: 1 year (backup)
  • security logs (IP, anti-fraud): 10 years (strictly for security and legal purposes)

20. Account Deletion

The user may delete their account at any time.

Deletion results in:

  • deletion of content
  • deactivation of the account
  • permanent deletion after technical delays

21. Data Export

Before final deletion:

  • an email is sent to the user
  • a period of 7 days is granted to export their data

22. Service Availability

Cosplan may be modified, suspended, or interrupted without any guarantee of permanent availability.

Cosplan does not constitute a backup service.

23. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • the content they publish
  • the legal compliance of their content
  • the security of their account

24. Cosplan’s Liability

Cosplan cannot be held responsible for:

  • content published by users
  • interactions between users
  • indirect damages related to the use of the service

25. Service Closure

In the event of Cosplan shutting down:

  • users will be informed in advance
  • they will be able to export their data
  • there is no guarantee of recovery after closure

26. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by French law.

Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cosplan’s registered office.
